Notwithstanding the obligation to prepare safety data sheets and develop labelling, for some product groups it is necessary to submit them to the relevant databases in the EU countries or to the toxicology centres (PCN), to notify them to the C&L database or to assign an appropriate code (UFI).
THETA Consulting experts will report for you both the classification and labelling of the hazardous substance and the SDS in accordance with the relevant legislation.
Mandatory notifications are required when hazardous substances and mixtures are placed on the EU market. Each importer and manufacturer of a hazardous substance should notify ECHA of its classification and labelling information in accordance with Article 40 of CLP.
When a mixture presenting hazards due to toxicological and/or physicochemical effects is placed on the market, information on such a mixture shall be required to be sent to the national toxicology centres in accordance with Article 45 of CLP.
In addition, some Member States require additional local notification for hazardous chemical products placed on their markets.
